1966-- eons ago in terms of our understanding of drunk driving. This man is a murderer. Not first degree -- not intentional, but because he was inebriated he stole all those lives. Today drunk driving is taken much more seriously. It took organizations like MADD to bring the issue to the fore. He should have had at least 5 years if not more. Today, especially after more than one offense, he would have. Thanks for dropping by Family Archaeologist!

Hi Courtney -

Welcome to GeneaBloggers! Reading your blog description - I instantly wanted to learn more.

Who handled their estate? Sometimes, the cemetery will have documents that disclose this. Whoever it was, they probably have a connection to your grandparents and would be worth exploring.

You are going to have to get creative in order to learn more about them. Did your grandparents attend a church? Did your grandfather work for a large company? A small company? Someone could still be alive that has some memories to share. Do you know what high school they attended - you could look up their yearbook.

Good luck!
